This case study illustrates our complete design and automation journey—from an initial concept with no assets to the successful creation of more than 800 airline logos.

Why an Airline Logo Image Library?

Maintaining up‑to‑date, brand‑correct logos is critical for any flight‑related platform like Online Booking Tool (OBT) or Internet Booking Engine (IBE). Without a single source of truth, teams risk using outdated or inconsistent graphics, which can undermine user trust and violate brand guidelines. Our goal was to gather every logo—major, regional, and charter carriers—into one place, ensuring uniformity and simplifying integrations with booking engines, mobile apps, and marketing collateral.

Sourcing and Preparing Assets

We started with an authoritative list of global airlines, cross‑referenced from IATA membership data and industry directories. For each airline, we visited its official website and consulted trademark databases to confirm the exact, registered mark and usage requirements.

Vector Redrawing Workflow

Our designers manually vectorized each logo, following best practices for clean anchor‑point placement to optimize for scaling without artifacts. This handcrafted process guaranteed that even legacy or non‑public domain marks were represented in crisp, editable SVG form.

Quality Assurance and High‑Resolution Output

We understand that responsive design and scalability are crucial when building online travel tools. All our logos are provided in Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) format—a pixel‑perfect image format that renders flawlessly at any display size or resolution.

Automation with Figma Plugins

Using the figma‑export CLI, we pull every component in one command, outputting organized folders on disk—a huge time‑saver versus manual export. With no need to source, verify, or format images across multiple tools, each logo has been hand‑vectorized to ensure brand fidelity and organized as Figma components for instant use.

Conclusion

By meticulously verifying trademarks, leveraging expert designers for manual vectorization, and layering in powerful Figma automation, we built a resilient, high‑quality airline logo library of over 800 assets.
