Qualities of a Great Client :)

Here’s our wish list of a great client :p
- Knows his website objectives and goals e.g. why he wants a certain function on the website and how the it should work to meet his business objectives.
- Answers questions pertaining to the web project (e.g. design direction, target audience, function requirements)during the initial project scoping phase with the web consultant in a clear and detailed manner.
- Prepares an RFP ( Request for Proposal) or a document with a clear outline on the scope of the web project.
- Understands the reasonable time period required to design and develop a website and agrees on the project deliverables and timeline.
- Keeps to the original scope and objectives of the web project within the proposed budget.
- Provides accurate and proofed website content from his side on time to prevent duplicate work to update earlier content which had not been proofed.
Prompt to return project feedbacks. - Responsive to email and phone calls from the acccount or project manager.
- Approaches the web project as a team and is part of the solution rather then the problem.
- Able to give approval, sign-off and make payment on time.
While there are good clients, there will also be bad clients…
